    台儿庄区处在典型的季风气候区，季风特征非常明显，冬季刮偏北风，夏季刮偏南风。每年3～11月刮东南风或西南风，频率为10～12%；从12月到次年2月刮西北风或东北风，频率为14%。全年主导风向为东北风，风向频率为11%。
    1977～1985年区气象站积累的资料表明，全年平均风速为2.3米/秒。其中，以3月份的3.2米/秒为最大，11月份的1.7米/秒为最小。极端最大风速为18.0米/秒，风向东北，出现于1979年1月10日。
