    1947年11月峄县政府成立自卫总队，辖第五区（驻台儿庄）编制1个中队，队员180人，步枪152枝，手枪3枝；第六区（驻涧头集）编制1个中队，队员180人，步枪145枝，手枪8枝。1948年春，峄县自卫总队扩大编制，第五、六两区中队分别改编为第四、第五大队，1948年11月撤销。
