    1912年，中华民国政府成立，地方政权设置仍沿袭清制，直到1928年方实行政体革新，台儿庄仍为峄县辖区。今区境内设峄县第五、第六两个区，辖7乡1镇。1946年秋，峄台民国地方政权重建，辖区未变。1947年撤销区制，原8个乡镇直属峄县政府。1948年11月，民国地方政权被人民推翻。
