    临赵支线以运原煤为主，兼运其它物资，并附带办理客运。
    1935年前，台枣支线每日往返客货混合列车一次，机车牵引20节煤车，2节客车，装煤300吨，客流量400余人次。
    1937年，客货列车往返983次，运原煤90余万吨，客流量约10万人次，发送邮件37000余件。
    1943年，该线运输为最盛时期。台儿庄镇和台儿庄车站附近设有货行、货站、代办站、转运站、旅店、马车店40家之多，港口、码头处，南北时货堆积如山。镇内市面繁荣，生意兴隆。
