    罐头生产在台儿庄兴起始于80年代初。1982年3月，台儿庄区和台儿庄公社两级投资37万元，联合筹建枣庄市鲁南罐头厂，同年10月投入生产。是年产罐头90660瓶，品种有糖水山楂、糖水梨、糖水苹果3种。
    鲁南罐头厂有职工75人，厂房面积1.8万平方米，拥有固定资产50万元，流动资金45万元，设计生产能力1500吨。1985年，职工增到250人。罐头品种增加两种肉类，年产568吨，实现利税12.5万元。
