    峄城地处中纬度地带，植被类型分为针叶林区、阔叶林区、灌丛和灌丛草本植被型，以及人工栽植为主的水生植被区。全区林地面积17万亩，占全区耕地的18.0％，加上农田林网，农林间作和四旁植树共12.4万亩，林木覆盖率为16％。
    全区草山坡7万亩，灌丛植被分布于丘陵地带，灌丛草本植被分布在运河滩地和农田隙闲地带。
