    1984年9月，县政协成立文史资料征集委员会，下设文史组，配备1名专职人员。1987年4月，政协常务委员会设文史科(局级)，1990年5月，改称文史工作室。
    1985至1990年底，政协文史资料委员会共征集文史资料257篇，近100万字。内容涉及政治、经济、军事、文化等方面。对征集到的各类文史资料，经系统地加工整理后，编辑出版4辑《沂源文史资料》，刊登文章125篇，计35.6万字，发行7600册。
