东靠临朐，东南与沂水毗邻，西依莱芜，西南与新泰接壤，南连蒙阴，北与博山、
淄川相望。客运里程，县城南麻至省会济南180公里，青岛284公里，泰安100公里，
临沂178公里，淄博(张店) 97公里。全县东西长63.6公里，南北宽52.2公里，总面
积1732.13平方公里。
