    2003年1月， 总投资278万元的周家镇1万亩土地治理项目开工建设。至当年底，
项目区内新修生产路21条32公里， 形成方田38个；新植树3.2万株，林木覆盖率达到
18%， 成活率、保存率达到95%；新打机井5座，新建机井房80座，新建桥涵70座，新
铺地下硬塑料管防渗渠覆盖1万亩，新发展经济田7000亩，项目区粮经比达到3∶7。
