    周家乡从1988年开始实施九年制义务教育，经过努力，于1991年通过市级验收合
格， 实现了九年制义务教育，学龄儿童入学率由1988年的99％上升到100％，教学质
量逐年提高。为达标，投资28万元购置了教学仪器和音体美器材。1988年以来，中小
学共新建教学楼2幢， 郭家、楼里等村新建教学标准教室57间，其他学校维修校舍等
合计投资130万元。
