    1988年末，全乡7963户，总人口28244人。其中非农业人口446户，2095人。在总
人口中， 有苗族2人，满族1人，布朗族1人，彝族3人，僳僳族1人，余为汉族。1989
年末，全乡7614户，总人口28500人。其中非农业人口507户，1147人。民族构成同前。
1990年末，全乡总户数7811户，总人数28529人。其中，非农业人口562户，1146人。
民族构成同前，1991年，全乡7912户，总人口28510人，其中非农业人口583户，1178
人。民族构成同前。
