    1933年，县民众教育馆藏书596册，并开展图书阅览活动。1951年，县文化馆图书室藏书200余册，
报刊数种，1953年，藏书达1000册，实行开放阅览。1961年，有报刊30种，实行全日开放阅览，日接
待读者百余人。1976年，藏书49000册，报纸20种，期刊30种。拥有持证读者1000余人。1987年，县
图书馆藏书达32000余册，有持证读者1300余人；乡（镇）及各单位图书室120个，总藏书223819册。
