    淄博市规划局临淄规划分局前身为临淄区建设局规划管理科，成立于1974年。
1993年10月，机构改革时城乡规划纳入一体化管理，设置城乡规划管理科。1996
年又分设乡镇管理科。2002年7月1日，成立临淄区城市规划局，正科级单位，属
建设局内设机构， 负责全区城区及11处小城镇的规划管理工作。同年9月26日，
市政府对城市规划建设部门实行垂直管理。年底，改名为淄博市规划局临淄规划
分局。内设办公室、规划科、建管科、监察科等科室，编制11人。
