    临淄故城繁华一时的楼台亭榭、宫阙古刹，因年代久远早已无存。历代城池
建筑，也毁于兵燹。南北朝至明清时期，虽佛教大兴，四处兴建寺塔、庙宇，但
也因战乱和自然剥蚀而圮废。所以临淄古代建筑几乎无存，只是在遗址废墟中残
留着点滴古时建筑。
