    1963年， 县成立档案科与档案馆。 科、 馆合署办公，共计在编干部3人。
1967年，改组为县革命委员会档案组。1971年，改称文档组。1978年，又改称档
案室。1981年，建立临淄区档案局。1984年，撤销档案局，建立档案科，改属中
共临淄区委办公室领导。1985年9月，改科为局，列区政府编制序列，在编干部8
人。
