    1964年4月，临淄县科学技术委员会(简称县科委)成立，编制9人，实配干部
2人。隶属中共临淄县委领导，与宣传部合署办公。1966年9月，县科委迁往孙娄
公社石鼓村办公。1968年，县革命委员会生产指挥部设科技组，代行科委职责，
编制2人。 1971年撤销。1975年8月，恢复科学技术委员会建制，编制7人，隶属
区革委编制序列。1984年，又增设科学技术开发中心，为区科委的下属事业单位，
编制5人。
