    本区高等教育自学考试于1984年4月首次举行。 应试科目，包括党政干部基
础、汉语言文学、法律和会计学四个专业。应试588人次，经考试合格者123人次。
10月， 举行第二次考试，486人次应试，133人次合格。1985年4月，举行第三次
考试， 除上述四专业外，增设英语、政治教育、农业基础管理三个专业，859人
次应试，171人次获单科结业证书。10月，第四次考试举行，673人次应试。经试，
272人次合格，合格率达41%。
