    1939年10月，中共益、寿、临、广四边县委在临淄二区建立妇女抗日救国会。
随后，郑郭乡、马台乡、石羊乡相继建立了乡一级的妇女抗日救国会。11月，临
淄县妇女抗日救国会成立。 1940年4月，  全县五个区均建立妇女抗日救国会。
1949年12月，临淄县召开第一届妇女代表大会，建立了临淄县妇女联合会。1970
年，临淄县划归淄博市后，改称临淄区妇女联合会。
