    临淄地区的土壤，土层深厚，质地适中，土体构造良好。土壤母质多为黄土
性洪积、冲积物。南部低山岭坡上的土壤母质多为石灰岩风化物。山丘中上部多
为残积坡积物，浅平洼地则为湖泊沉积物。另外在低山丘陵区的局部地段上有红
色粘土质，在齐国故城区有人工堆积物。
