    1953年7月， 根据山东省邮电局决定，临淄县邮政局与电话局合并，称临淄
县邮电局，人员30人。1958年10月，临淄并入益都县，设益都县邮电局临淄支局。
1962年1月， 复称临淄县邮电局。1969年12月，邮政、电信两局分设，1973年12
月复并，称淄博市邮电局临淄分局。
