    1919年1月，在县城设临淄县中华邮局，初为三等局，同年10月改为二等局。
1938年1月，因日军侵入而撤销。
    1942年4月， 临淄县抗日民主政府成立战时邮局，人员5名。1946年4月，改
为临淄县人民政府邮政局，人员35人。同年，国民党县政府也在县城建立邮局。
1948年3月临淄全境解放，邮局随之溃散。
    1948年5月，临淄县人民政府邮政局迁入县城，为三等乙级局，人员17人。
