    建国初期，有个体手工业者808户，经社会主义改造，大都走上集体化道路。
人民公社化后，除石匠、木匠和修理服务业外，城乡个体手工业少见。
1979年后，通过对个体经济积极扶持，个体工业有较大发展。据1985年统计，全
区有个体工业103家，人员640人，产值197万元。
