    建国初期，主要发展乡土树种。1953年采集侧柏、紫穗槐、桃等树种320斤，
树条5.6万余斤。 从1964年，在继续坚持本地采集的原则下，从临朐县调进平柳
树种1万余斤。从海阳县购进紫穗槐树种2万余斤。1973年从河南调进大官杨树条
50万株。1974年冬，从宁阳县调进大青杨树条70万株。1978年冬，首次从夏津县
引进包头毛白杨树条10万株。1983年春，从五莲、泰安、淄川等地引进一批意大
利杨、1214杨、172杨、169杨以及健杨等树苗。1984年冬，又从冠县调进易县毛
白杨树条7000斤、小苗5000株。
