器、专用机械、铸造等行业，产品广泛应用于交通运输、能源、矿山、冶金、机械、化工、轻工、纺织、医疗器械、航空航天
和各类仪器仪表等领域。2016年，全区机电泵业规模以上企业实现工业总产值364.6亿元、销售收入379.8亿元、利税41.5亿元，
分别占全区工业总量的52.3%、51.4%、54.9%。
