    2016年初，区国防教育办公室向市国防教育办公室申报山头街道樵岭前红色纪念馆为市国防教育基地。经市国防教育办公
室审核考评，批准樵岭前红色纪念馆为市国防教育基地，4月19日，举行揭牌仪式。该馆向社会开放以来，先后接待参观群众
和培训青少年达数千人次，成为博山区开展爱国主义教育、国防教育的主阵地。
