    博山在历史上从1686年(清康熙二十五年) 至1918年(民国7年)曾发生过有记
载的虫灾8次，其中蝗虫、好蝗(粘虫) 各3次，蝻2次，严重者“禾谷伤”、“生
饥”。建国后由于使用农药，虫害得到控制。
