    镇(公社)行政职能机构与文化事业相同。为加强领导，1992年设立淄城镇体育运
动委员会。1996年作了充实调整，安排两名干部到镇体委负责全镇体育工作的计划、
组织和协调。主要群众团体组织有：1986年建淄城镇农民体育协会；1991年建淄城镇
老年人体育协会；还有青少年体育协会、乒乓球协会、象棋协会等。村和较大企业及
学校也建立了相关组织，形成全镇上下齐抓共管的良好局面。
