    1988年，淄城镇特教辅读学校建立，校址在原西关小学，有校舍6间，设1个班，
学生12人，教师3人，孙连清任校长。
    辅读学校面向全镇及社会招生， 招收对象为7～15周岁，经区级以上医院测试，
确认为低智能的儿童。办学宗旨是通过特殊方式方法的教育教学，使其能识2000多字，
并能掌握一定的运算技能，基本达到或接近小学文化水平，将来能自食其力，有独立
生活能力。
    课程设语文、数学、体育、唱歌、美工。
    1992年，因旧村改造停办。
