　　淄川区建筑业快速发展。勘察设计和监理企业从无到有，建筑施工企业从小
到大、从弱到强，施工方法由手工操作逐步向机械化、 工厂化过渡， 采用新技
术、新工艺、新材料，提高建筑档次，除满足本区建设需要外，金城公司、淄博
金剑建筑设计公司等单位到区外参与建筑市场的竞争。2002年，全区建安总产值
达4.57亿元，竣工面积47.27万平方米，从业人员13059人，建筑业成为全区支柱
产业之一。
