    1982年林业资源调查，  全区共有宜林荒山、  荒滩面积
385662亩。    二、退耕还林面积为了更好地发挥山区优势，本着宜林则林、宜
农则农的精神，将不适宜农作的25度以上的山岭薄地，有计划地进行退耕还林，
至1983年，已有磁村、岭子、黄家峪、黑旺、太河、峨庄，口头、张庄、东坪、
西河、商家、冶头、寨里、洪山等14个乡镇已退耕还林2万亩，并种植了经济树。
