    1985年统计， 区内有天主教徒500余人。“文化大革命”中，正常的宗教活
动中断，宗教场所的设施多被占用，有的被破坏。中共十一届三中全会以后，贯
彻落实了党的宗教政策，教友已恢复了正常的宗教生活，并建立了教友自己的组
织“天主教三自爱国委员会”。
