    1951年12月筹建淄川县检察署，配备秘书1名。
    1954年7月建淄川县人民检察署。
    1956年6月筹建淄川区检察院，8月6日正式成立，对外办公。
    1974年7月1日，第四届全国人民代表大会决定撤销检察院，其职权改由公安
机关行使。
    1978年10月恢复区检察院。1980年1月，全院人数增至34人。1984年4月，全
院人员增至45名，1985年增至60名。
