    西昆轻便铁路系由原悦升公司为开发西河矿区煤炭资源而于1924年动工修建
的，东起博山区福山镇的桃花峪村，西至昆仑镇的河口村，全长lO．34公里。该
线为轻轨铁路，轨距1.03米，沿途设有昆仑、大岭、西河、桃花峪4个车站。
    该线建国前后均系一运煤专线，自60年代开展客运业务，为厂矿内部自办的
福利性质的客运。
