    张(店) 八(陡)铁路，是德帝国主义为掠夺淄博矿产而修筑的，于1903年5月
动工从张店火车站向南修建，至1904年9月通车。
    张八铁路，北自南定玻璃厂入淄川区境，南至昆仑镇出境。在淄川境内共长
22公里，设有淄川、昆仑两个车站，其间有桥涵67处。
    昆仑火车站为三等客货运站。
    淄川火车站为四等客货运站。
