    1980年10月15建立。
    运管所是事业单位，在行政上受区交通局领导，在业务上受市运管处指导。
    运管所的任务是：具体贯彻执行党和国家有关运输政策、法令，管理好运输
市场(车辆管理、货源管理、运价管理)，通过区内各管理站，按照国家的有关运
输市场管理法规，管理淄川区运输市场和监督检查社会的运输车辆。
    1985年运管所下设：淄城、双沟、杨寨、罗村、寨里、洪山，二里、昆仑、
龙泉、西河、口头、太河、磁村、岭子、冶头交通运输管理站。
