    1943年日本侵略者在南墅掠夺石墨时，强迫矿工每天劳动12个小时以上，只给杂
粮（玉米、 高粱、谷子）3公斤，1944年2月，经过工人罢工斗争，每天给增加杂粮1
公斤。农村扛活长工，日工资杂粮1.5公斤，短工每天杂粮2公斤。
    中华人民共和国成立后，工资制度不断改革，职工的工资逐步增加。
