    1949年， 莱西、莱西南县共有106600户。为447000人，平均每户4.2人。1953年
人口普查， 全县共有104386户，为458691人，平均每户4.4人。1964年人口普查，全
县共有114271户，为497817人，平均每户4.4人。
    1982年7月1日， 全县共有158025户，其中家庭户157502户，集体户523户。家庭
户共630832人， 平均每户4.01人，比1964年增加43754户，平均每户减少0.35人。家
庭户多为两代人，三代人的不多，四代人的甚少。
