    1950年，莱西北半县发生麻疹，共发病6572人，虽经医疗卫生部门抢救，但仍死
亡287人。1956年，发病881人，死亡21人。1962年到1964年，每年平均发病4000人。
1966年开始接种麻疹疫苗， 麻疹发病率下降。到1986年，每年平均发病106人。1987
年全县未发生麻疹。
