    1976年，推广荣城省柴灶，因其灶堂小，吊火距离短，效果不佳。1986年，莱西
县能源办公室与山东省农业厅签订了3年改灶合同， 由技术人员结合本地特点，吸收
外地优秀灶型长处，研制成功“莱西省柴节煤灶。”该灶结构合理，热效率高（超国
家规定标准），操作简便，易于推广，获县科技成果二等。到1987年，全县推广“莱
西省柴节煤灶”14.6万户，占全县农户总数的93.6%。
