    1974年，鳌山公社盘龙庄大队在其村东南海区试养贻贝72亩，单产达到2000多公
斤； 丰城公社绿豆圈大队试养4亩，获纯益2300元。1978年，全县养殖贻贝1801亩，
总产3740吨。1979年后，贻贝销售价格逐渐下调，到1985年，除盘龙庄外，其余各生
产单位皆停止养殖。1987年，鳌山卫村和温泉镇办养虾场，为了利用贻贝做对虾饵料，
分别养殖贻贝110亩和140亩。
