    1975年在全县推广大畦套种春玉米和“二四畦”套种半夏玉米技术。1978年全县
套种面积达13万亩， 占玉米播种面积的54.2%。这项耕作制度的改革，提高了粮食单
产，解决了胶南县沿海地区小麦成熟晚，直播夏玉米苗期易受“堵门涝”的矛盾。同
时还可早收获、早倒茬，为适时播种小麦创造条件。
