  人口分布  1982年第三次人口普查，全县总人口778558人，分布在24处公社（详见

    人口密度  本县人口密度，1949年每平方公里为303人；1960年为338人；1964年
第二次人口普查为326人； 1970年为384人；1980年为398人；1982年第三次人口普查
为402人，比1964年增加76人，比全省平均密度少84人；1987年底为425人。
