    胶南海域位于黄海西北部，总面积近500万亩。其中近海水域450万亩，浅海水域
30万亩，滩涂8万余亩。有自然海湾15处，岛屿10余处。较大岩礁和岸嘴8处，近岸暗
礁19处。潮汐为正规半日型。海水含盐度，2月为31—32‰，8月为30—31.7‰，11月
为31.6—32.3‰。海水温度，夏季低于气温，冬季高于气温，一般不结冰。
