畲、 朝鲜、  拉祜、 哈尼、京、基诺等19个民族。汉族人口为969897人，占
99.24％；少数民族人口为7427人，占0.76％。与1990年第四次人口普查相比，
汉族人口增加了35276人，增长了3.77％，少数民族人口增加了613人，增长了
9.00％。
