    1950年，北海银行章丘县办事处改称中国人民银行章丘县支行，北海银行章历县
办事处改称章历县支行；1953年9月，上述两银行合并后称中国人民银行章丘县支行；
1985年7月1日， 专门行使中央银行职能。2002年底，全市金融系统共有7家机构，干
部职工1167人，各项存款余额达70.77亿元，其中储蓄存款56.53亿元，企业存款9.07
亿元；各项贷款32.35亿元，其中短期贷款28.4亿元。
