    清末、民国时期，境内广大劳苦民众，身居茅屋陋舍，条件较差。新中国成立后，
住房条件逐步改善。农村，50年代住草房，60年代后期"海青房"，70年代半砖墙，80
年代中期盖瓦房。1985年，人均住房面积达16平方米，砖木结构的占43.6％。城镇职
工住房条件明显改善，多数住上单元房。
