    清末、民国时期，官府、民间兴土木，自募匠人。匠户依雇主的建筑规格，用秫
秸或木料制成模型(俗称小样)，由雇主选定。新中国成立后，国家、集体兴建一般工
程，多从当地募匠人设计；重大建筑工程设计，报请省、市设计部门绘图。
    1978年12月，成立设计室，为全民所有制事业单位，实行企业化管理，隶属县基
建局。 1979年5月，隶属县城建局。1983年12月，隶属县城建委。1985年，共16人，
其中干部2人，技术员4人，工人10人；有晒图机1台。年利润4.54万元。
