组建于1950年9月； 1955年7月，改称章丘县公安局人民武警队；1962年2月，改编为人
民武警队山东省章丘县部队； 1963年2月，  改编为中国人民公安部队章丘县公安队；
1983年，改编为中国人民武装警察部队济南市支队章丘县中队；1992年，改为现称。至
2005年，先后34次被评为先进中队，6次荣立集体三等功，601人（次）立功受奖。
