1986年10月， 县政协在乡镇建立政协委员联络组。1991年3月起，在各乡镇设立政协统
战联络室，规格为正乡镇级，是县政协的派出机构。主要职能是加强同驻乡镇政协委员
及各届代表人士联系，组织其开展经常性活动。2002年1月，撤销乡镇政协统战联络室，
由各乡镇党委分管党务的副书记负责联系政协工作。
