    章丘市位于山东省中部，济南市区东50公里处；东经117°10′～117°35′，北
纬36°25′～37°09′之间。西邻济南市历城区，东连淄博市周村、淄川区，南交泰
安、莱芜市，东北与邹平县接壤，西北隔黄河与济阳县相望。总面积1721.12平方公
里。市治明水，城区面积23.5平方公里，按直线距离计算，距首都北京380公里，由
铁路至北京559公里。
